Businessman Robert Vadra on Monday said that Congress Uttar Pradesh General Secretary and his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should have been allowed to meet families of the victims of Lakhimpur violence. Priyanka was stopped by police officials while she was on her way to Lakhimpur to meet victim families.
Speaking exclusively to India TV, Robert Vadra said Priyanka is a strong woman and she won’t get initiated like this.
Robert Vadra said Priyanka had called informed her that she will definitely go to meet people in Lakhimpur Kher.
Priyanka was going to meet victim families and police officials stopped her when they didn’t have the warrant. He asked that legal action must be taken against those who stopped her.
Robert Vadra further said that she completely supports her wife and the entire country is with her.
